Jonathan Park 101
Okay, I've heard different things about Jonathan Park, good or otherwise. I saw some in a bookstore recently, and thought about getting them. But I know next to nothing about this radio drama, so could all of you help me out? Maybe talk about some episodes, the premise of the series, and your opinions on it. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Jonathan Park 101
Okay, my family owns a few albums, so I can share my opinion with you.
I feel that they are a lot more limited in the topic that they cover. Most episodes contain arguments against evolution, New Age whatnot, or other ideas that do not line up,with a Christian perspective. Almost every episode has something to provide evidence for creationism.
Some of the episodes are really insightful, and if I remember correctly, they are a good deal longer than a typical AiO episode. However, a lot of the episodes revolve around action drama and adventure, but they will also sometimes include a slower side plot.
Sometimes the plot seems a little contrived or too convinient for a discussion. They have some work to do on subtlety and smooth transitions.
Oh, and I just remembered. Some of the episodes can be REALLY fast paced and with multiple plot lines, and some of the voices are fairly similar, so listening to some of the episodes gives me a headache trying to keep up.
Overalls, I think AiO is better, but I really enjoyed the refreshing differences between them. I would say that the episodes are generally centered around an older age range.
I hope this helps!

It doesn't only focus on that, but they do talk about it A LOT! Which I like cause science isn't my favorite subject. It makes it easy to understand and I learn a lot personally. I like AIO better, but I would say Jonathan Park is up there. I own Albums 1 thru 8. I believe. Or maybe 7. Who knows. LOL. I hope this helps Old Judge. I would say if you find them at a cheaper price it is totally worth it!

It's just like Hannah said. Creation is the main focus of the show, but not everything revolves around it.
There is definitely a running story, but I would say that the episodes are less interconnected than AiO.

T.S., what do you mean by "less interconnected"? Do you mean no epic sagas like Novacom that last for two years?

Exactly what you said, Old Judge. There are references to past episodes, occasionally, but it is rare to get much beyond that. There are, as far as I have listened, no continued sagas. They sometimes have two or three part episodes, but most of the time the episodes are meant to stand alone.

Re: Jonathan Park 101
Jonathan Park is produced in San Antonio. (I live near it). I dislike the acting in it. The information is good, but the acting I don't like and like what some have said it moves too fast.
Re: Jonathan Park 101
It also sounds like it was made in some one's garage as opposed to FOTF Radio Theater and AIO.
Re: Jonathan Park 101
Even then, I've heard better things/Seen better movies that have had low budgets.
