Okay, following the archiving of my initial "interrogation", I'm making this interview topic for you.

Feel free to ask anything*, I'll do my best to answer.

*I reserve the right to refuse questions that would break the CC rules, of course.

I'm sure I messed a few up, but here's what I got:

The team is arriving at different times.
The jury unanimously agrees that the verdict was guilty.
If I were a little older, I would be in college now.
Either your mom or her friends is taking you. (this was a hard one)
Each of the girls took her test separately.
Are you implying that I cheated?
If you lose your pen, don't come running to me to find it. (that's a spelling question, not a grammar one)
The girl yawned frequently during the show appearing to be disinterested.

The first one is incorrect. Team is a collective noun and is singular only if the whole unit is acting as a whole (#2). Because they are arriving at different times, they are not acting as one, and thus the subject requires a plural verb.

The fourth is also incorrect. When using (n)either/(n)or, the verb agrees with the subject closest to it (in our case, "friends".) Friends is plural, and requires a plural verb.

The last one is also incorrect. "Disinterested" means "impartial, unbiased" and is frequently--and might I add, incorrect--while "uninterested" means "not interested."

That's okay. They were tough. I just happen to like them all =D *awards you many brownie points for using the subjunctive properly*

I *think* I've heard Monster, but I don't remember if I liked it or not. My favorite Skillet songs are Hero and Falling Inside the Black.

It made enough sense for me to decide on violet.

Why violet? Because it makes sense. The sky is blue because it scatters high frequency blue light. Violet's higher frequency. So, why isn't the sky violet? Because blue contrasts green. But, because contrast isn't a problem now, I chose violet because it makes sense.
