Re: Study tips.
You should probably make notes, if you can't remember stuff.

Re: Study tips.
My best advice is to read over important paragraphs twice. You can decide what's important or not, but if you read something that you really want to remember, read it over again.
After each lesson, try to think of practical ways to use your new knowledge. This way you create a stronger memory, and you might think of a cool project.
I agree with AS, you should take notes if at all possible. That way, if you need to review quickly, just look at your notes. My biggest problem is thinking that I couldn't possibly forget something, and then forgetting it because I didn't write it down.

Re: Study tips.
When highlighting/taking notes, only write down THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF. If you highlight everything, then what's the point? Often it's not just bold print terms, but key ideas. Look for it. Read the topic sentence for an idea of what it is.
Re: Study tips.
Try using a pencil to draw a star (or what ever symbol that you can make really fast) by certain paragraphs that stand out/you want to remember. If there's a specific sentence that you want to remember, try staring the paragraph and then underlining/or highlighting the sentence.
