Science!
This is the topic to discuss anything science related. Do you know interesting facts, or tips about science?
Perhaps you just have an interesting experiment you would like to share? Feel free to post here then!
Science related Youtube videos are acceptable, as long as they're appropriate.
If you don't have anything necessarily like this, and just want to discuss the topic, please, by all means, go ahead!

Re: Science!
Well, I don't know if this counts as science, but it sure is useful in science:
A sphere with a radius of one kilometer has almost exactly the same volume as a cube that is one mile on each side.
In "pure" science, I think it's cool that we understand the world around us well enough to make computers. I mean, just look at your PC (or mac) for a second. Isn't it amazing? We spent thousands of years gathering the knowledge needed to make an x86 arch PC.
Also, I think it's cool that electrons and protons have exactly the same charge, except electrons are negative and protons positive. They're so perfectly balanced that you really can't make an argument that they came as a result of random chance. If they were a little off, everything would explode.
Oh, and don't forget Quarks. It's funny that we thought that Hadrons were solid particles, and only recently found out otherwise. Oh, and Hadrons remind me of the Higgs Boson... isn't science just so awesome!

I keep hearing rumors that they did indeed discover the Higgs Boson particle with the Hadron Colider...
However, I can't find any difinitive articles/statements about it...
