CCWN, 04/24/13: And, we're back!

It's been a while since CCWN has been updated, which is a bummer. So, I decided to take over the news reporting myself, in the hopes that I will be able to offer dependable, accurate, and up-to-date news for you all. I'll also be having column writing spots available for any of you who are interested.

The idea with CCWN columns is to allow you, the members, to write for the news, and give us your perspective on recent CC events. This idea has been going around a while, and it's about time we go ahead and open it up. How it works is you PM me your column article, and I'll post the best ones in CCWN. Exactly how many I post is yet to be determined, I'll probably include all of your submissions.

The most exciting piece of news right now is Spirit Week. It's coming soon, and in fact, you can even sign up now. What is Spirit Week, you ask? It's essentially a fun little competition between two teams chosen at random, stretched over a week. You'll have challenges to complete as a team every day. To see the archives of the last Spirit Week, take a look here. From what I can tell, a date for Spirit Week hasn't been determined yet, but you should be on the lookout.

One final thing to be aware of is the CC Mint, which will soon be opening. From the mint, you will be able to purchase proof coins of various seashell denominations to display in your inventory. Some special edition seashell coins may also be available from time to time.
