How do you rate this episode?
734: Life Expectancy, Part 1
Here's the first part of the most anticipated episode of Album 57. I am really interested in what everyone thinks. This should make for an interesting review thread.

*dies*
I didn't like where they cut the episode, for one thing. Haha.
I dunno. It was good. But Connie....I think Katie's an amazing actress, but her reaction didn't seem...genuine? I dunno. It just didn't seem right to me. Parts of it sounded realistic, and then parts weren't.

That's interesting, because I thought Katie was spot on with her acting.

I have only heard the mp3 version, so something's I mention may or may not be in the radio version.
This part is really good. I really think the writing in this is great. There isn't unneeded frivolous humor that doesn't seem to fit. At first I was really shocked that it really was June that died. I was disappointed at first because she had a heart attack. They pulled it off well though explaining that June had had heart trouble for quite some time and just hadn't told Connie. I especially liked the scene with Connie at the hospital talking to Junes body. It seemed to really pull out Connie's emotions and make us feel for Connie even more than we already were. I really like that they brought in Bill and that he came to Odyyse for Connie. If anything t shows that he loves his daughter even though things didn't work with June. The way this episode ends just makes you want to hear more. How will Connie respond to the news about her sister? Will Bill actually stick around Odyssey for the funeral? And what exactly will happen next?
I give this first part a B+(87%)

I thought she was really good and all, and some parts gave me chills, yeah. But I think when Connie first found out, she took it REALLY calmly. I didn't seem realistic, I guess? I thought Katie was awesome, otherwise, I didn't mean to imply that she wasn't. And I did like the scene with Bill.Bren wrote:That's interesting, because I thought Katie was spot on with her acting.
Although, like Jason said, I was a bit worried as to how they were going to explain her dying out of the blue, I did like how they handled it.
