Who is your favorite author?
Mine would be C. S. Lewis, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens... and a few lesser known authors
Who are yours?

Well of course Tolkien, Rosemary Sutcliff, CS Lewis, Walter R Brooks, and maybe a few others.

CS Lewis, Tolkien, Louis De Wohl, Robert Louis Stevenson, and a few others.
Re: Who is your favorite author?
Tolkien, Oscar Wilde, and Jane Austen are all wayyyyyyy up there. But my absolute favorite, just because of my taste, is Bryan Davis, creator of the Dragons in Our Midst books.

Re: Who is your favorite author?
I don't really have a favorite author but it would probably be C.S. Lewis.

My least favorite author is the author who wrote Twilight!! I mean who would ever write something so awful!! It has a vampie who falls in love with a human....? That is just SO wrong!! The vampire should drain her of her blood!!! And my favorite author is C.S. Lewis.... and Dr. Suess.
Re: Who is your favorite author?
Ha ha! I love Dr. Seuss too!
I'm not Twilight fan, but it's rather a romantic and fascinating concept for a vampire to fall in love with a human. I'm impressed Stephanie Myers came up with that, and made it so believable, back when that was, err, somewhat original. Before zillions of imitations flooded into bookstores and online. The fact is, though I've never read much of that stuff, the books really are very lovely. Surrounded by recommendations of them, and drawn in by seeing it in all my fav bookstores, I decided to look at the first book... it was gorgeous. I never got that far, but everything seemed more or less fine. In fact, as I said, it was very nice.
The books, as I was told afterward, are highly questionable in a myriad of ways. However, it's only foolishness, trying to simplify darkness, if we say evil is bad because it's unattractive. That's just sinking to evil's level. If we were honest with ourselves, we'd see evil is often, well, pretty...
Perhaps it's usually pretty.
