In case you haven't heard Boston had a marathon today. Two bombs went of near the finish line 51 injured, two killed. One of the injured was a three year old who is in a children's hospital. This is very sad, and honestly I can't find words to express what I'm feeling.

I can't explain why these things happen. And I know that's always a question that arises in situations like these. One of my friends is out that way, and thank goodness she and her husband are ok. No one knows why or who is behind this, but one thing is for sure. The people out there need prayer, our president needs prayer, the families affected need prayer, and the police officers need prayer. Most importantly our country needs prayer as the investigation unfolds. And we can pray and hope that nothing else is following.

Please pray or those effected in the Texas explosion. A fertilizer plant exploded and many have been killed or injured. So sad.

Someone who was driving a bus for a group of people the other day had a heart attack. Two men tried to revive him, but it was too severe, and he died. I'm told (this is at least fourth-hand knowledge, so I'm not sure how accurate it is) that someone had the opportunity to share the Gospel with him on the way. Please pray for all involved, as well as the driver's wife, and other unknown family members.

Please can Everyone keep this Baby in Prayer.. He was born 1 pound, 9oz.. He is not doing to good.. His name is David Bates.





He has health problems.. Oh please keep him in Prayer!!!

Someone from my church recently passed away, and it would be appreciated if you kept me and her friends and family in your prayers.

I have a huge favor to ask of my friends. I am facing a new "position" at work in about 8 hours. I've never had a morning shift like this before and I have that to adjust to and also the fact of not knowing what I'm gonna be doing. Suffice it to say, I could really use all the prayers I can get concerning this.

I have another request. Awhile back, I posted a request about the wildfires. Though we have been doing better than last year, it is still dry. Yesterday, a fire broke out in between Colorado Springs and us, it is only one county over. I can't say exactly how close we are, but we have gotten a lot of smoke, and at night the sky is red. We are not in the evacuation zone as of now, but because the fire is 0% contained, there's no tell what could happen. I would appreciate prayers, thanks. 
(There are currently 150 firemen working on the fire, and over 3,000 homes evacuated. Somewhere around 100 homes have burned. More info, search Black Forest Fire)

That's horrible... I'll be praying for you, and everyone else affected by the fire. It's amazing how we still can't really control fire, so many things are out of our control, actually.

Thanks, Sko. The mandatory evacuation line is moving closer and closer to us...I will try to post if we really are evacuated, but I might not have time. As always, I really appreciate your prayers. Wildfires have always been a big fear of mine...=/
