CC Weekly News 6/26/2010

The
opening music
plays and an announcer comes on saying "Greeeeeeetings one
and all. Welcome to CCWN and here's our bright and shiny host Jason." Audience
applauds.

What?...I guess it's a little better than
lovely...but weird. "Hello, and once again welcome to CC Weekly
news. Like the announcer guy said I'm Jason. This time we're gonna
start off with an election update."

"It seems as of right now we
have two candidates on the ballot. Chelsey and Marvin DeSanchez. Earlier
I asked each candidate if they had any words for our audience. This was
their response.

Chelsey wrote:"Good luck to Marvin, as the
date gets closer, and thanks to all who
supported me. Now onto the
actual election! "

Marvin DeSanchez wrote:May the best person win!

"We decided to take our interview to the
streets and get some others views on the election."
Jason
walks up to the counter of the Electric Palace. "So uh Bart
what do you think? About the election?"

"Youse have some fine
candidates here. Almost as fine as the "Vote for me" bumper stickers we
have on sale for $4.99. I ran for mayor a couple times but would they
ever let me into office here? No. I think they're afraid of my inner
abilities or somethin. Youse know this board has lasted longer than I
figured. 9 months soon to be ten? Never would have guessed. I thought it
was gonna go down like the titanic within two months.... " Bart Rathbone replied.

"After Bart our
cameras and mics caught up with another respected person in Odyssey."

"Hey Wooton so what do you think of the election?" Jason asked.
"Well I think
it's as even as a double stacked oreo. It could go either way. The
tension so thick you could cut it with Power boy's utility belt." Replied Wooton.

"Bart
was right about it almost being the tenth month of CC. Here are Regis'
thoughts on how the board is doing."

Regis wrote: I would like to
see the site continue to grow and be active. I like to give people a
place to meet and as long as members are enjoying it, I will get
some happiness out of it

"So now it's time for CC Stats."




"Here's some stats having to do with the boards posts
and such. First up we have a graph of number of registrations since
we started."

"Well..There isn't a whole lot of AIO news this
week. But you can check out Odyssey way
and Campbell County Connection and see
what their latest surprises are. Back to you Jaso." said Freddy Jay.

"Thank you Freddy." Audience applauds.
I think
that's just about..." A security guard from offset ran onto
the set. He almost forgot to stop and tripped over the desk.
"Who are you?" Jason asked while the audience laughs.
"Me? Why, I'm...Mr. Lumpy. one of your new security guards." replied Mr. Lumpy once he got off the floor.
"And
your interrupting my show because?" Jason asked hoping he had
extra security to take care of this if needed. "Well...uh...I
forgot. But do you want one of my famous sandwiches? I have all types
of unusual ones you could try. I got ham, turkey, cream soda, and my favorite ice cream." Mr. Lumpy said.
"Sandwiches?
That's it? Security!" Jason asked annoyed.
"Oh and uh...I was told
to pass the message along that uh..." Mr. Lumpy whispers
something no one can make out.
"What was that?" Jason
motions to security to wait.
"Umm...quite possibly the
cameras weren't on and uh...this show wasn't aired...and the only ones
that saw it was our in studio audience.......and I was the one who drew
the shortest stick..I mean the one who was told to tell you......"
"WHAT??!!" Jason raised his voice..and Mr. Lumpy ran back off set
tripping over something as he went.
"Well that's all for this week. Thanks for watching CC Weekly News. This
is your not-so-bright-and-shiny-host saying Be sure to come back next
week...and hopefully we'll have a new camera crew by then... "
