Thanksgiving Story Corner Empty Thanksgiving Story Corner

Post by The Old Judge 1st November 2012, 11:05 pm

Okay, guys, just about a week ago I was listening to Thanksgiving at Home, and Jimmy and Donna acted out a play of the Pilgrims for their sick parents. Now that we're in the Harvest Festival, I thought it would be nice to tell the story of the Pilgrims, but in our own way. Each person takes a sentence or a part of a sentence, be as detailed as you want, add details in, but don't do anything like, "...in the middle of the feast, aliens dropped Michael Jackson in Plymouth Square and the Indians and Pilgrims had a dance party." Make it historically accurate, please.

And now, the CC production of "The Story of the Pilgrims"!

Once, a long time ago, in 1607, to be exact, a group of Christians in England...

Whoah, whoah, whoah. I'm sorry, but you seem to be confused. The Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria, were Christopher Columbus's ships. The Pilgrims had too ships, and after one of them was um, destroyed, The Mayflower was the only one left. Just wanted to clarify. Very Happy

Do we make the topic as accurate as possible? Or do we say random stuff?

Actually, the pilgrims had to try a few times to get away before they finally succeeded in getting away on the Mayflower. Just clearing up the background to the story, continue. Smile
