CC Weekly News 3/13/2010

It's been awhile since my last one... Jason thought as he sat down behind his desk and awaited his cue.

A somewhat goofy voice from off set says "And we're a rollin in a three a two a one...KACHOW!" He points and cues Jason.

Hmmm...new guy?...
Jason looks down at his papers and continues.

"Since it's been a while since my last broadcast, I have a bunch to catch up on.Soooo.....We'll start with AIO News, take it away Freddy!"

AIO News
The camera switches to a different member of the team.

"I'm Freddy Jay with Campbell County Conn....I mean CC news bringing you the latest AIO update for this week. Well for starters, the new season has started! The Inspiration Station I and II is available to hear. Also if you'd like you can give your thoughts on The Inspiration Station Part 1 or The Inspiration Station Part 2. In other news Brock has released some clues in an image that pertains future Odyssey episodes/albums. Check it out and discuss it here. Oh talking about the Inspiration Station reminded me I haven't reviewed the second part yet..That's all for now back to you Jase."

"Thanks Freddy, let's give him a round of applause. Maybe he'll get his review done today..."

This blog caught my attention recently, when it was mentioned on the Odyssey Scoop at the same time as Campbell County Connection. Also it just so happened that it started the same day as CCC. The blog I am referring to is
Odyssey Way.

A man from off set walks into the news area, and up to Jason's desk. He has a giant magnifying glass that he keeps looking in to investigate his surroundings.He continues to wonder as if Jason hadn't said anything to him.

"UM....Excuse me? Who are you" Jason said a little louder.

"Me? Who am I? Well the truth of the matter is one does not really know until he finds himself." The man replied in a somewhat mysterious tone.

"So that's what you're looking for? your name?" asked Jason in a somewhat sarcastic tone.
Why is this guy wasting my airtime...

"Don't be silly, I know my name. It's Mortimer Mcfields."

"Nice, but what do you want? We have a guest waiting to come on..." Jason asked getting ready to call security for the second time in the history of the show.

"What do I want? I'm searching for the thing."

"The thing? What is this thing that you speak of?"

"This thing is a mystery even to me." continued Mortimer

Then the closing music began playing.
"Sorry Mortimer looks like we're out of time...Thanks a lot......This is Jason thanks for watching. See ya next week on CC Weekly News!"

Laughter is coming from off stage

"Who authorized Mortimer to interrupt my show? What's that? still rolling? Umm .....Have a nice evening everyone." Camera turns off.

Nice Job, Jase. And what about Mortimer....lol...

Just for clarification, Mortimer Mcfields wasn't intended to be the same Mortimer from The Inspiration Station. It occurred to me just now that it was the same first name..
