CC Weekly News 9/2/2010

The lights are directed at someone in a security type outfit. The camera guy says
"And your a live, in three, two..."guy cues to start.

"Greetings and welcomes. You're watching CC Weekly News. I'm Mr. Lumpy, not Jason which I'm sure you could tell that." Mr. Lumpy snorts. "But Jason is well...oh I was told not to discuss that on the air. So on to stuff that you may or may not know yet that most would classify as news."
Mr. Lumpy pauses while the audience gives their somewhat hesitant applause.

"Let's see...Oh a good place to start as any would be .....I know. Bring out the st-hats." At that, some giant walking hats start coming onto the the set. "Uh...No! I said stats not hats." Exclaimed Mr. Lumpy and the dancing hats made their way off set utterly disappointed.

CC Stats

"Our top posters for the past week are
Spoiler:

Now here are a couple pies. Well pie charts that is. Sorry folks. I do want some apple pie right about now though.....Anyway.
This one shows what percentage of topics was started by which user. You can see the top ten, as well as how many were started by NPCs. Other is those who aren't mentioned in the top ten.

Spoiler:

This one is the amount of posts through out the months of CC. It's sorta harder to tell...October is the blue one percent one, and then it goes around to the right and down the list.
Spoiler:

We currently have 924 topics, and 17447 posts as a total for the board. W00t!" Mr. Lumpy pauses and lets the audience applause.

"So that's all the stats we have for the moment...So we'll move on to Freddy Jay's AIO News." Mr. Lumpy said.

AIO News

"Uh..yes thank you lumpy. Well there's little news in the AIO world. There is a few pod-casts that are definitely worth the listening/watching. One such podcast is an interview with Nathan Hoobler. Another is the Odyssey Scoop's podcast which is by subscription only, but I hear that their latest video podcast is worth seeing. Along with that we know the majority of the episode names for album 52, and if you don't know them yet, you can check them out here. I think that wraps it up on my end. Back to you Lumpy."
Said Freddy Jay, barely pausing to take a breath. Audience applauds.

"Alright, now it's time for a new segment I'm gonna call. Imagine that. A story time feature with Mr. Lumpy.
There once was a baker that made bread and cookies. He was visited by all sorts of customers, including a variety of kids that came in especially for the cookies......" Mr. Lumpy is cut off and a message scrolls across the screen.
We interrupt this program,

to bring you a word from our sponsors.

Sorry, but Lumpy forgot to pause for a break.

So we had to force this commercial.

Once again sorry for any inconvenience.

Screen once again goes back to Mr. Lumpy, as he is wrapping up his story.

"The baker brushed the cookie crumbs off the counter and to his dismay a mouse came out and took the cookie crumbs. The poor cookie was never seen from again." Mr. Lumpy said. Some of the audience clapped, while others sat still as if waiting for more. Mr. Lumpy began acting a little cagey. Unbeknown to the studio audience, there was someone watching from the shadows.

"Before I end my my debut as the new and improved host of CC News, I must remind you that the election has started. If you are interested in running, you may want to check out this here thread."this here thread.
"And that concludes CC News for today. Catch me next time and maybe I'll show you the excitement of skydiving." Then images start flickering of different things/people. Such as Connie Kendall, red eyes, dancing bananas, and rabid flying mutant ninja squirrels. Then.....
"Jason wake up. You're gonna be late for CC News." Said Freddy Jay to Jason who had been tossing and turning in his sleep. Jason jolted awake.
Whoah....Lumpy taking over the studio...the red eyes....mutant ninja squirrels? it was all just a nightmare....Phew. Thought Jason as he prepared to go to the studio.

Or was it?

I think Nate was referring to how many topics started.
Well I'm gonna try to get it back to weekly, but if time seems to be an issue it may end up being changed to monthly...
